FFRF Co-President Dan Barker plays piano while vocalist Darcie Johnston sings the Cole Porter song “Let’s Do It” at the fifth in a seven-month series highlighting Great American Songbook musicians who — surprisingly — were not religious.

Audience members listen to songs performed by Dan and Darcie. If you missed earlier “Songbook” installments, you may watch them on YouTube or look for them in Freethought TV’s archive.

FFRF’s Outreach Coordinator Charis Hoard waits outside Freethought Hall on Aug. 24 to welcome guests to the “Great American Freethought Songbook.”

Henry Mongrain chats with another guest prior to the start of the show. Thanks to FFRF Events Manager Sadie Pattinson for coordinating details of the evening.

Dan Barker gives some details about the history of freethinker Cole Porter and his songs. All of the concerts, which stream live on multiple platforms, can be watched on FFRF’s YouTube channel of the free app for smart TVs: Freethought TV.
